Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Worth buying
This is a good watch with good looking features.
This one I presented to my brother and started thinking that I should have kept it with myself.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not bad, but not the best either
* This extremely light weight Casio sport watch seems very sturdy. The look, the design are all excellent. However, the built-in functions of waves, position of moon etc. are not reliable at all. Even the compass is not reliable. But for $19.99, I would not expect all these to save me from the Amazon jungle! Also, the 4 buttons are a little over extended outside. While putting my backpack on, I have accidentally changed the display without noticing.
As I said, not bad for regular sports (even Tennis), but do not rely even 1% on it's navigational skills! ...

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Lasted less than 6 months
Bought this for my 16 year old son. Right from the beginning it started fogging up after he got out of the water(lake/shower). In August one of the side buttons fell off, now mind you I have a teenage boy that is impeccably neat and careful with his things.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good not great
* Works ok once you get the lunitidal thing worked out!Buttons are too large and have a tendency to change display without your knowledge... ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent value for your money
What you see is what you get. When it comes to watches- specially sports watches- Casio is a very good quality brand. This sports watch is a very good value, you get cool design, good quality materials and some nice features (i.e Moon phase data) plus the ultra durable battery (10 years). If you are looking for a watch to time you training sessions this is the right purchase for the right amount of money. You can always go fancier but there is really no need as this watch has the key features to meet most of the needs of the semi-pro athlete.

The Pharos GPS Phone 600e isn't a horrible smart phone, but the lack of navigation software and subpar call quality detracts from its overall appeal. Plus, you can get more for your money with other GPS-enabled smart phones.

Thanks to a rich set of features and some great new additions, Evite maintains its stature as the top service for issuing e-invitations —but competitors are catching up.

Joshua Logan's 1967 film of the hit Broadway musical about the love triangle between King Arthur (Richard Harris), Guenevere (Vanessa Redgrave), and Sir Lancelot (Franco Nero) is strong on star emphasis and weak on such fundamentals as story and sets. Except for a handful of solidly dramatic scenes--such as Guenevere grieving, late in the film, for the ruination she and Lancelot have caused--there's not a lot to get excited about. (The story's theme of a lost, great society, however, certainly struck a chord in the 1960s.) The Lerner-Loewe songs ("If Ever I Would Leave You," "Camelot") pretty much sell themselves, even if they are, at best, only proficiently performed in this movie. --Tom Keogh

"The book was better" has been the complaint of many a reader since the invention of movies. Frank Darabont's second adaptation of a Stephen King prison drama (The Shawshank Redemption was the first) is a very faithful adaptation of King's serial novel. In the middle of the Depression, Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) runs death row at Cold Mountain Penitentiary. Into this dreary world walks a mammoth prisoner, John Coffey (Michael Duncan) who, very slowly, reveals a special gift that will change the men working and dying (in the electric chair, masterfully and grippingly staged) on the mile . As with King's book, Darabont takes plenty of time to show us Edgecomb's world before delving into John Coffey's mystery. With Darabont's superior storytelling abilities, his touch for perfect casting, and a leisurely 188-minute running time, his movie brings to life nearly every character and scene from the novel. Darabont even improves the novel's two endings, creating a more emotionally satisfying experience. The running time may try patience, but those who want a story, as opposed to quick-fix entertainment, will be rewarded by this finely tailored tale. --Doug Thomas

On the DVD

Listen to our interview with Frank Darabont.
Anyone who has seen this Oscar-nominated film knows Frank Darabont likes to t-a-k-e h-i-s t-i-m-e. He certainly does the same in filling all three hours of his commentary track which he recorded over several sessions. Darabont has studied other DVDs and purposely does not repeat tidbits covered in the excellent new 90-minute documentary on author Stephen King and the making of the film. Other solid segments are two deleted scenes, a never-used teaser trailer, and Michael Duncan Clarke's screen test. The highlight is two remarkable tests of Tom Hanks in old-age makeup. Both are very credible, but it was decided to use another actor. The outcome is a DVD that puts the "special" back into the special edition. --Doug Thomas

When Roman tribune Marcellus Gallio (Richard Burton) is sent to Jerusalem, one of his assignments is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Marcellus, a cynical and hardened man, wins the robe Jesus wore to the crucifixion while gambling with other Roman soldiers underneath the dying savior. He later becomes convinced that his hallucinations and violent outbursts are the result of a curse received from the robe, which is now in the possession of his escaped slave, Demetrius (Victor Mature), somewhere in the Middle East. He sets out to find Demetrius in order to destroy the robe and the curse and finds faith instead, converting to Christianity. This was the first movie to be filmed in CinemaScope, and won Oscars in 1953 for costume design, art direction, and set decoration. The visual aspects of the film are stunning, and it may be worth viewing for that alone; however, the script and acting leave much to be desired, and you won't find inspiration in these areas if that's what interests you. If, however, you are more interested in this film for its religious matter, the story of the conversion of the hardened Marcellus is inspiring. --James McGrath
