Steampunk -- or streetwear!
* I searched long & hard for a pair of leather lace-up boots that would look appropriately vintage for steampunk costuming, yet be of high enough quality to walk long distances at conventions. I found these -- and I am THRILLED! It's very difficult to find boots that fit my athletic (muscular!) calves, but the lace-up (& side zipper) allow a perfect fit. The heel is sturdy & solid -- very comfortable, & it doesn't feel if I am going to skid. Fit is true to size; leather & construction are very high quality. My original plan was to wear them for costuming only but they are perfect for the street. The ROVE boot is adorable and PURE WIN! ...

* First of all, I have to say that this was an exceptional value. These boots look like I would've paid a lot more than I did for them. I was really excited about receiving these boots,and was not at all disappointed. They arrived super fast. I ordered on Thursday, they were shipped on Friday and were on the doorstep when I came home from work on Monday. The boots are very well made and very, VERY cute. The only problem that I foresee is that they also fit my 17 year old daughter. I suspect I'm going to have a hard time keeping them in MY closet : ) ...

Comfortable and Stylish
These boots are stylish and extremely comfortable. I wear a size 12 womens and unlike most boots that come in this size, the boots fit snugly around my calfs. And even though the boot has a chunky heel it doesn't take away from the comfort when you walk in the boots.
