Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Well Designed Armband
I used a different armband for the last year or two but my son confiscated it. I found this one at a great price and thought I would take a chance although it seemed too cheap.

I have been pleasantly surprised. I like the rubbery case. It is similar to one I already own for just carrying the ipod around. It is soft and non-slip and hardy. The band wraps around the arm width and can velcro tight anywhere along the way. (My previous arm band was limited in range).

I see that one reviewer found that it slips in the case. I don't have that problem. I have always worn my ipod so that the bottom of the ipod it facing up on my arm. This seems natural since the ear buds attach to the bottom of the ipod.

I also see that a number of people have mentioned a plastic face protector. I guess I missed that. If it came with mine, I must have not realized what it was and just threw it away. It would have been helpful it they had a instruction sheet to point it out.

Good product. I am very happy with it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wish granted
* Finally a lightweight armband that keeps your iPod in place and doesn't bother you when you're working out. Grantwood is on top of their stuff. ...

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - very minor flaws, overall a great product
PositivesThe armband is very thin, so my arm does not get hot while running. The entire armband is stretchy and soft and has the soft part of the velcro on it, with a little bit of the scratchy part of the velcro right on the tip so it is impossible not to get the right fit. I have petite arms and the arm band is small enough to fit on my upper forearm. I can also get it around the largest part of my calf so I know it will fit larger arms as well. Since the armband and the ipod holder are two separate pieces, and because it is a silicone holder rather than a material one, I am confident that my ipod will not collect moisture. The click wheel is easy to use while in the holder, and the screen is clearly visible. The silicone seems like a nice protective case that if I wanted to I could remove the armband portion and use it as just a cover when I am not using it for running.NegativesI have a second generation nano and I have to push the ipod really hard into the silicone to get the proper fit. Even though it feels secure, and i am not afraid of it slipping out completely, the bottom of my ipod does tend to work it's way out of the silicone and I fear that this constant battle will eventually cause the silicone to tear. The sliding "hold" button on the top of my ipod is difficult to use while in the silicone. But I don't really need that while I am running anyway. When the ipod is properly inserted the silicone wraps around the edges of the bottom of the ipod, so when I plug in my headphones, the connection is pushing on the silicone, and probably expedites the ipod slipping out of the silicone. This however does not effect the connection of the headphones. This is for my sony headphones, this problem does not occur with the original ipod headphones. I do not have the Nike + running system so I can not review on how it fits with that. However when I plug in my USB charger I have to slide the silicone off from around the bottom of my ipod so i can connect it, and the ipod is no longer inserted properly into the silicone. If the nike + running system is as thick or thicker than the USB attachment then it will not properly be inserted into the silicone while in use, however like I said before, I do not fear that the ipod would slide out completely. It just ads to the wear and tear of the silicone.Overall it is a great product. Very affordable and from what I can tell on reviews and what I have seen of other products offered that are both compatible and not compatible with the nike + system, this is the best armband out there. When or if this one breaks I will buy this same product again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Product
* This is an amazing armband. It has a lot of velcro so it won't move around a lot when I run, or do activity. It feels comfterble all throughout my run, and the armband can fit any arm size whether big or small. It also works with nike plus, another great bonus. Im glad I picked this armband. ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A good deal. Not to bad for parkour either.
For the price, this case is reliable. It doesn't slide around on my arm when I run, jump, climb, or even go upside down. The only time I find myself adjusting the position of my iPod within the case is if I've been pulling on it (I keep in on the backside or my arm). It's not flashy, which I like, nor is it bulky. The only downside is that in the long run I can see it needing replacement - the silicone can't last forever (figuratively speaking) and so if you want to have it for a long, long time, you might want to go with something made out of leather.

It's a measure of the ongoing popularity of Karen and Richard Carpenter that the 2002 release of this video collection in DVD format comes nearly 20 years after Karen's death. The duo's heyday mostly preceded the MTV age, so this 15-song, 55-minute anthology is a bit of a visual hodgepodge, composed of still photos, footage from TV shows and concerts, promo clips, fleeting attempts at conceptual videos, and other weirdness (film of Carpenters albums being pressed on the assembly line? Hey, whatever). You'll see an array of bad haircuts and outfits and a whole lot of lip-syncing, but in the end, it's the music that counts. And the Carpenters' signature sound, with its brilliant arrangements, its lush harmonies, and Karen's exquisite alto voice, was easy-listening pop at its finest. If nothing else, Carpenters: Gold offers another chance to hear that music in all its glory. --Sam Graham

With a gentle tug at the heartstrings, Evelyn tells the true story of an imperfect father whose devotion brought much-needed change to rigid Irish law. It's a labor of love for star and coproducer Pierce Brosnan, who brings just the right touch of Everyman charm to his role as Desmond Doyle, a struggling Dublin tradesman, father of three, and chronic pub-crawler whose wife abandons their family the day after Christmas, 1953. Desmond's a loving father who's boyishly irresponsible; Irish law dictates the removal of his children to stern Catholic orphanages, and his battle for custody is aided by two lawyers (Stephen Rea, Aidan Quinn) who seize this opportunity to revolutionize the courts. With straightforward, unobtrusive style, director Bruce Beresford draws fine performances from Brosnan, Julianna Margulies (as a barmaid who inspires Desmond's sobriety), and especially young Sophie Vavasseur in the title role as Desmond's bright, determined daughter. Sentimental without being saccharine, Evelyn is simple, well made, and bursting with genuine Irish spirit. --Jeff Shannon
