Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Grantwood Technology presents the tuneband armband for the iPod Nano® 3rd or 4th Generation. The silicone skin is secure, thick and protective and allows access to all the ports on the iPod Nano®. The tuneband has a comfortable stretchy Velcro® band that fits both large and small arms. Also, the tuneband comes with a low tack peel screen protector. Finally, the tuneband is compatible with the Nike+iPod system, allowing you to attach the Nike+iPod receiver to the iPod.

This package also includes the Shoe Pouch. The Shoe Pouch was designed by Grantwood Technology, LLC to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+iPod Sport Kit® with any type of shoe. When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro® closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+® system. The Shoe Pouch matches the correct longitudinal alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security. With a small, low profile, secure, neoprene design, the Shoe Pouch is the answer to using the Nike+iPod® with any style of shoe.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product!
This is a great way to wear my Nike receiver on my shoelaces of any shoes. I don't have to buy a special pair of Nikes with a hole under the sole for the receiver.

The armband for my Nano is comfortable and light. The Belkin armband I had before, for my iPod Nano made me get a rash on my skin.

The best part is that it is available in lots of colors. The only downside is that I have to take the shoelaces out and re-lace them. I LOVE my Nike+iPod for keeping track of my walks and runs. This way I can use it with any shoes, not just Nikes.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good shoe pouch, adequate armband/case, horrible screen protector
* The shoe pouch works well, but the other elements of this kit are lackluster at best. The armband is just elastic and not particularly comfortable. The silicon case is hard and not as snug as others that I've used. It works well for the armband, but it's not great for a general Nano case. Above all, do not use the included screen protector! It's awful. You have to cut it out to fit your model of Nano and the buttons become clumsy beyond belief with the full front covered. When I tried to remove the lower part of the cover, I was left with the worst sticker goop ever and I'm still trying to remove it without damaging my Nano.

If you just throw away the screen protector, you have an OK product. Still I have to believe that there is something better out there. Although I can't complain too much given the price, I would not buy this again if I had the choice. ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good product, great customer service!!
This product works great for me. Very simple and basic (i would not use it if it was raining though) and the shoe pouch is great. I defiantely like it better than my Belkin armband because it is not as hot. As soon as I received mine, I put it on my nano. I went a little to fast and it ripped. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me another to replace it. They also followed up to make sure I had received it. It is really hard to find such great and prompt customer service these days. I highly recomend this company and their products.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect Accessory for any Runner!
* I bought this armband recently after reading all of the positive reviews here on amazon. So far, so good! I find the band to be very comfortable and sturdy -- overall great for running. I liked that it came with the silicone case and the shoe pouch (even though I don't have the Nike ipod kit yet).

I plan on buying one of these for my dad for his birthday as well. Great product and definitely great customer service from Grantwood....highly recommended! ...

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - yes but no
The main advantage of this armaband is to allow you to plug the Nike+ connector. However, the quality of the armaband by it self is rather low. See iLounge for review

On paper, the Mio DigiWalker P550 looks to be an attractive gadget for the mobile professional, combining the capabilities of a PDA and GPS into one device. However, its poor battery life and subpar navigation skills tell a different story.

Though it won't appeal to the masses quite yet, the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is a nice, portable device for on-the-go Web browsing, and it has some worthy upgrades.

Though it has a few design and performance glitches, the Sony Ericsson W300i is a quality, basic MP3 cell phone.

Diesel vehicles have nearly a 50-percent market share in Europe, thanks to tax incentives and diesel-friendly legislation across the EU. Diesels are so passé there that you can buy a BMW 730d and no one will think it odd that your luxury car burns oil. Pull up in a diesel 7-Series in America and people would leer at you like you've alighted from an amphibious vehicle reeking of saltwater and dead trout.

But now, thanks to the oft-reported combo of newly-raised CAFE standards, not-so-newly-raised gas prices, and the 50-state diesel engine, GM, Ford, and Chrysler are about to dip more than a hesitant toe into the diesel game. Chrysler offers a diesel in the Grand Cherokee, but soon all three automakers will offer diesels in their best-selling lineups of light trucks -- the Dodge Ram 1500 is expected to offer a 50-state diesel after 2009. Light trucks are being used to lead the charge since those buyers stand to gain the most with the least amount of (perceived) sacrifice.

Diesels currently have 3.2-percent of the American market. Some estimates put them at 15-percent by 2015. That's a huge leap, and diesel still has plenty of hurdles. Diesels will come with a cost premium over gasoline-engined cars. That should be easy enough to conquer -- incentives and some quick cost and longevity calculations should convince people of the benefit. The real hurdle is the nagging issue of perception. The plan will probably be to attack that with a price that makes the proposition unbeatable. Said Chrysler's director of environmental affairs, "If it's priced right, we can sell diesel here. Diesel can give you an immediate poke in fuel economy -- 20 to 40 percent. Not many technologies can deliver that today."

You can say this about D.E.B.S.: director Angela Robinson’s 2005 feature isn’t very good, but it is surprisingly entertaining. The premise, which bears a passing resemblance to any number of previous films (from Heathers and Clueless to Charlie’s Angels and the Austin Powers franchise), involves a secret government agency recruiting young women as spies, based on their smarts, their ability to lie convincingly, and the fact that they look fetching in ultra-miniskirts. Four of the D.E.B.S. are then charged with collaring "criminal mastermind" Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster), who has returned to the States after hatching all manner of nefarious plots overseas. Then comes the twist: Diamond is gay, and one of our heroines, Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster), unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with her. Out goes the espionage element; in comes the love story, and therein lies the surprise, as this burgeoning lesbian relationship is handled with unexpected sympathy, even tenderness. Sure, the acting, even by veteran grownups like Holland Taylor and Michael Clarke Duncan, is almost uniformly lame, and the script is silly; overall, the film would have to put on considerable weight to even be considered frothy. Still, D.E.B.S. isn’t a bad way to kill a couple of hours. DVD bonus features include a making-of featurette and commentary by Robinson and the cast. --Sam Graham

The teaming of Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: The Movie) and Seann William Scott (Dude, Where's My Car?) as well as the presence of the '70s-flavored car chases that were a specialty of the TV series guarantees that The Dukes of Hazzard will be even more lowbrow than the CBS TV series (1979-85) that inspired it. However, this brain-damaging comedy is more "rehash" than "remake," as good ol' Georgiaboys Luke Duke (Knoxville) and his cousin Bo (Scott) are frequently upstaged bythe General Lee, the Confederate-flagged '69 Charger that they drive, jump, race, and fly in as they smuggle moonshine for their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson). Meanwhile, cousin Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) is reliably available to model her short-shorts (aka "Daisy Dukes") and awesome figure (and let's face it, Simpson's talents pretty much begin and end right there), while corrupt honcho Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds, who should know better) recruits a local NASCAR star to advance his wily scheme of converting Hazzard County into a strip mine. Director Jay Chandrasekhar (Super Troopers) manages to mine some good-natured humor from the movie's oval-track detour and a few colorful supporting players (notably Kevin Hefferman as the Duke's pal Sheev). Otherwise, consider yourself warned: The Dukes of Hazzard is shameless Hollywood product at its most forgettable, trafficking in shameless white, rural Southern stereotypes. If you can make itto the end, there's a blooper reel to reward your endurance. --Jeff Shannon

DVD features
Yes, the unrated edition of The Dukes of Hazzard has nudity... but no, it's not of Jessica Simpson, but topless sorority girls. There are also two sets--"PG-13" and "unrated"--of deleted scenes and bloopers. The four minutes of unrated deleted scenes (supplementing the 25 minutes of "PG-13" deleted scenes) include more sorority girls and a menage à trois for Johnny Knoxville . The five minutes of unrated bloopers (the same amount as the "PG-13" bloopers) feature a few more girls but mostly bad language. Featurettes discuss the Daisy Duke short shorts (and show how you can make your own), car stunts, and the making of the movie (narrated by a cast member of the original TV series). --David Horiuchi
